Welcome to Goldbrick House, an ideal bolt hole for those of you looking to kick back, relax and enjoy a sensory respite from life's more arduous duties. Loaf to your heart's content in this unique and independently run pleasure dome.
Considered the centrepiece of the stylish waterside scene, Aqua's ethos combines a serious dedication to good food with a nihilistic knack for knockout drinks. You'll be welcome to linger as long as you like over brunch, lunch or dinner and time in between. You may have to.
Alter Ego is a modern bar with a food menu, cocktail list and a TV for sporting events.
Set on the banks of the City's floating harbour, the terrace is a sought after
al fresco dining and drinking location. Inside the 200 seater restaurant offers
a laid back yet luxurious dining experience. Severnshed blends the old with
the new and features a spectacular six ton stainless steel hover bar which
can rotate 360 degrees or glide down the length of the building.
Situated at the lower end of Park St, Java is incredibly accessible boasting fantastic parking facilities within seconds of the venue.
Giant leather sofas and moody lighting provide a nicely intimate atmosphere that prevents it from becoming completely soulless. Legendary club nights such as Thank Funk It's Friday also ensure that this bar stands out a little from the crowd.
Boasts three bars, one of which is a cocktail bar. It’s recognised for its 80 panel LED lit dance floor and the comfort of its ostrich effect leather and boothed seats. The venue has 2 state of the art DJ consoles both equipped with the latest technology in providing quality entertainment.
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Bristol's newest and long awaited Champagne and Cocktail Bar. ATTIX has been designed to bridge that gap in the market where the smarter set can relax and enjoy the benefits of real table service, fine wines, champagnes, and a great range of cocktails.
Antix has been created for everyone to enjoy. Established October 2005 as a one stop venue where you can enjoy quality food, a wide selection of fine wines, cocktails and champagnes and a well stocked bar, with a party atmosphere that's in place to entertain all groups from 2 to 200 guests. It's one of the busiest venues in Bristol and has a late night licence allowing you to eat, drink, and dance till 6am in the morning - if you can manage that!
Situated in the heart of Bristol, just off the base of Park Street, the Bristol's busiest street for independent music and clothes shopping. The decor inside is rich and warming. All leather seating and old-wood coffee tables. It has an expertly designed bar with large mirrored display shelving behind. We boast one of the finest sound-systems in Bristol, the walls covered in flat paneled speakers, which in turn are covered in canvases from some of Britain’s most exciting artists.
The Elbow Room is a pool hall with a difference: great decor, laid back atmosphere and reasonable drink prices…a pool hall like no other in the capital…relaxed and stylish.
It's design evokes senses of being in a Victorian home rather than a pool hall. Designed over two floors The woods furniture is made up of leather sofas, stools and chairs which all fits in well with the general theme of the venue. The people behind The Wood's have introduced a wide selection of 62 whiskies that apparently are designed to cater for Bristols growing move away from white sprits and more towards malts and whiskies. You can also purchase pitchers of grolsch lager and various other beers and bottles including the local brew; Bath Ales Gem Bitter. All this whisky and beer can be enjoyed alongside an extensive food menu whose dishes are supplied by the Lebanese cafe/take away next door. The Woods is cosy and atmospheric in appearance.
This original French-inspired bar has the air of sophistication of a much older establishment. Expect a mixologist's cocktail masterclass from the highly-trained bartenders as you rub shoulders with local luvvies et al. Standing room only in the evenings, so leave your slingbacks at home.
ZERODEGREES is a pioneering drinking and dining concept at the forefront of the emerging trend towards fresh, handcrafted beers brewed by microbreweries. Our Mission is to provide a definitive theatre- style dining and drinking experience, using only the freshest ingredients to create inspiring gourmet dishes and exceptional freshly brewed beers. You will really get a sense of the processes at work around you, as the sights, sounds and smells of the working brewery and the busy kitchens, with its traditional wood-fire pizza oven, are open to view.
Hip, cool, cosy and pleasingly unpretentious late night lounge bar in Clifton. Named after the pre-war hotel that used to occupy the building, there's a function room for private parties and a small menu offering sushi and Thai chicken salad. As for music, Bristol's hippest DJs are all here - spinning soul, funk, hip-hop, jazz and disco. The owners are now opening a new venture called The River in Bristol docks, but for the moment we concur with Theme Magazine, who voted Park the Best-new-bar-in-the-West-and-Wales.
Stylish and in a properly romantic setting, BsB is one of the nicer places on Bristol's Harbourside and is good for lunch in the daytime, drinks in the night-time and most other things in between. The bar is set in the middle of a terribly comfortable seating area from which to watch the wonderful world go by - there's also plenty of amusement to be had watching the steady stream of passing chavs of a Saturday night.
Tao Bar is a new Café and Bar on Cheltenham Road in the heart of Bristol's creative quarter serving globally inspired food with locally sourced produce. The Tao Bar is about good food, great times, and giving something back.Using the finest ingredients from across the region, the café serves great food everyday.
At The Picture House we go out of our way to find the best ingredients and will always make space on our menus for locally-sourced, seasonal and organic specialities. The Picture House has positioned itself comfortably between café, bar and restaurant where customers can enjoy a luxurious three course meal or happily whittle away the hours over cream teas or a drink with friends.
A smart cocktail bar sans pretensions, this stylish watering hole has a vibe all of its own. Local artists exhibit on the walls, and the kitchens dish out the kind of gastro–pub fare you associate with the trendier London pubs. Be warned though, the professional service and exceptional range of premium spirits mean that you might end up staggering home clutching a newly acquired work of art.
Run by a successful group of Bristol DJs and promoters, Native was originally set up to bring back quality, un-commercial clubbing to native Bristolians. It hit the ground running, with a string of popular nights including Western Soul (alternating between Daddy G, Hundred Strong, and Boca 45), Futureboogie (featuring Seen DJs and Guests), Run (now one of the top drum and bass nights in Bristol) and many nights featuring live bands.
A recently refurbished gastro style pub with large banquets and a huge landscape garden, great for live music.
